The Forest Laker is a square stern canoe for hunting, fishing, and guiding on lakes and rivers. It's capable of holding 1300+ pounds and a roomy interior allows for multiple passengers and gear.
Standard models for each length are built with an inner keel and half ribs for added strength. The interior is equipped with four seats, two in the bow, one amidships, and a "U" shaped seat in the stern. The bow is trimmed with a 32 inch deck for storage underneath and a back rest for the bow passenger.
An eye ring bolt in the bow, oar locks, and a brass stem band that runs the entire length of the outer stem and keel all standard on the Forest Laker. Popular options include splash-rails, brass transom rings, floor boards, oar and fish pole holders, and storage bins.
Available in either a 18' 6" or a 21 foot length, both can be powered by range of outboard motors up to 12 horsepower. (15 hp for the 21')
