Designed to carry heavy loads while moving quickly through the water, the Cruiser's fine entry lines and rounder hull make it a fast and responsive paddling canoe.
The Cruiser is best suited for those who will primarily paddle tandem through the wilderness with heavy loads on lakes and rivers.
Our model is based upon the famous Chestnut Canoe Company's Cruiser model, a favorite among travelers in the north woods of Canada. The original Cruiser was used by logging companies to rapidly explore potential lumber sources. The men who perused the forests for timber were known as "cruisers", hence the model name.
